Dr. A. Lakshmanan is one of the leading Nanotechnologists in the country. Professor Lakshmanan served as Head, Centre for Agricultural Nanotechnology during 2019 to 2022, later he served as the Dean, School of Post Graduate Studies, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. He has published more than 80 research papers in the peer reviewed national and international journals. He has authored five books. His book “Insights into Fundamentals & Applications of nanotechnology” has well reached with the students. He has three patents and visited many countries like USA, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, Norway, UK, Sweden, Netherlands, Srilanka, Kenya, Switzerland and Philippines to share his research experience.
