Dr.
Biswa Ranjan Nayak is presently working as Assistant Professor (Agronomy),
Regional Research and Technology Transfer Sub Station (RRTTSS), OUAT, Motto,
Bhadrak Odisha. Besides his prime work of research, he has 11 years experience
in teaching at College of Agriculture and College of Horticulture, Chiplima,
Sambalpur, Odisha. He has completed B.Sc. (Ag) from Odisha University of
Agriculture and Technology, Odisha and M.Sc. (Agronomy) from Punjab
Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab and Ph.D. (Agronomy) from Visva-
Bharati, Santiniketan, W.B. He was awarded university merit scholarship during
B.Sc. (Ag) and ICAR Junior Research Fellowship during M.Sc. (Ag). He has developed
seven practical manuals in different aspects of Agronomy and also published a
book entitled “Irrigation and Nitrogen Management in Aerobic Rice” in My
Research Publications, New Delhi, which is
useful for the students, teachers and researchers in Agriculture and
Horticulture. He has published fourty research papers in different journals of national and
international repute and co guided of two M.Sc.
and one Ph.D. students.
