Dr. Chandan Kumar is working as Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) Horticulture, ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute (CAZRI), Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Pali-Marwar (Rajasthan) India. He has done his graduation from Marathawada Agriculture University (MAU), Parbhani (Maharasthra) in 2008, Post-graduation from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand) in 2010 and Doctorate from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) India in 2015. He has contributed in 12 book chapters, 24 research paper and 37 popular articles. He has a qualified ICAR-NET and SRF in vegetable science in Horticulture. He has awarded young scientist award and best extension worker award.  He specializes in vegetable breeding and its production technology.
