Dr. Gograj Singh is presently working as a Scientist (Senior Scale) in the area of pre-breeding, genetic improvement and breeding for protected environment in bitter gourd and tomato at Division of Vegetable Science, ICAR, New Delhi. He did his M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Horticulture-Vegetable Science) from ICAR-IARI, New Delhi. He has qualified JRF, SRF and NET in Horticulture. He has received the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Award for outstanding doctoral thesis research in Horticulture by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi during 2018. He is also the recipient of Dr B. R. Barwale Young Researcher Award for best Ph.D. thesis in horticultural biotechnology by Indian Academy of Horticulture and Dr G. S. Randhawa Award from Society for Promotion of Horticulture, ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru. He has published several research papers in journals of national and international repute, popular articles, technical articles, book chapters and one edited book.
