Dr. Mahesh Gaur completed his PhD from JNV University, Jodhpur (India) with specialization in Aridlands Geography. He possesses expertise in the application of satellite remote sensing and GIS for the appraisal and monitoring of natural resources. He has worked as Associate Professor (Geography) with Government of Rajasthan (India) from 1997 to September, 2012. Presently, he is working as Senior Scientist – Geography at ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Jodhpur, India since September, 2012. He was awarded prestigious Associateships by the UGC and COSPAR.
