Dr. Permeshwar Singh Chauhan (b. 19th June, 1972) Jhalawar, Rajasthan. He earned M.Sc. in Botany from H.N.B. Garhwal University Srinagar, Uttarakhand in 1996, Ph.D. in Forest Ecology and Environment from Forest Research Institute (FRI) University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He is presently working as an Assistant Professor and In-charge of Department of Forest Biology and Tree Improvement in the College of Horticulture and Forestry, Agriculture University, Kota, Campus Jhalawar, Rajasthan. He has served various Institutions such as Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology Udaipur, Centre for Environmental Management of Degraded Ecosystems, Delhi University, Jharkhand Space Applications Centre, Ranchi, Dolphin P.G. Institute for Bio-medical and Natural Sciences, Dehradun and Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. He is teaching UG and PG classes since 2006. He's author of two chapters in edited books and has published forty reviews, research and popular articles of national and international journals. He is a recipient of Sir S.K. Seth award for the best paper in 2004.
