Dr. Vijai Pal. Ph.D Professor of Plant Pathology at CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, received M.Sc. Agriculture and Ph.D. (Plant pathology) from G.B. Plant University of Agriculture & Technology Pantanagar in 1973 and 1977 respectivey. He was a post Doctoral Fellow at National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA), Angers, France during 1982-84 and  at the University of California, Davis, USA in 1993-94. Dr. Vijai Pal has been actively involved in Phytopathological research since 1978, Having published 75 research papers and review articles. He is a life Member of Indian Phytopathological Society, Indian Society of Plant Pathologists, Indian Potato Association and Indian Society of Plant Pathologists, Indian Potato Association and Indian Society of Mycology and Plant Pathology. He is also a member of International Working Group on Fire Blight Research.
